Showcasing our most memorable stands

At The Barista, our job is simple. We help you boost your brand presence and increase footfall with speciality coffee for your events, from exhibitions and conferences to brand product launches.

Over the years, we’ve been lucky enough to have served coffee at some unique and wonderful stands. Today, the team is looking back over some of our most memorable.

Crufts 2022 for Royal Canin

Royal Canin stand at Crufts 2022This one’s pretty obvious – who wouldn’t love to spend four days surrounded by dogs at arguably the world’s greatest dog show? We served coffee for leading pet food brand Royal Canin at Crufts 2022. When we weren’t serving our expertly roasted coffee and hot drinks to the people of Crufts, we kept ourselves busy making a host of adorable new four-legged pals.

A big shout out to Dash, who Julie became good friends with. We’re impressed that she managed to escape the doggy cuddles for long enough to serve an impressive 1,524 drinks across the four days of the event!

We supported iconic electric car brand Tesla at the launch of their Model Y SUV. The event took place at the Southampton ferry terminal, where customers were able to collect their brand-new Tesla’s straight off the boat and drive them home.

It was our job to make sure we kept everyone there well-caffeinated before it was their turn to collect their shiny new car – something we pulled off to great success, with over 1000 drinks served over the course of the day.

XeroCon 2019

Large events are always fun as they’re a great opportunity to get a lot of the Barista team together, and this one was no exception. Described by those in the know as “Glastonbury for accountants”, XeroCon London is a big-scale, energetic cloud accounting conference where thousands of pioneering professionals come together to stay ahead of the latest industry trends – iconic astronaut Tim Peak was even in attendance!

It’s no surprise that our coffee went down wonderfully amongst those attending. We served 4,176 drinks and used 47kg of coffee across a total of five coffee bars over the two days we were there.

Park Run 2021

We attended four events for Brooks Running. These were a lovely change for the team; they were outdoor events, which meant setting up our stand as the sun came up and then a lovely day of serving drinks in the sunshine. The change of scenery from our usual events meant spirits were high and everyone had a lot of fun – and most importantly, our client was delighted.

BIBA 2019

BIBA 2019 was one of our most memorable events almost entirely due to its sheer size and scale. Taking place in Manchester, the British Insurance Brokers’ Association 2019 conference and exhibition was one of the year’s most anticipated industry events, with an impressive speaker line-up and thousands of attendees.

We had 17 staff members at the event and served 3998 drinks across the two days. We have 17 baristas returning for BIBA 2022 in a couple of weeks and we can’t wait!

MIPIM 2019

MIPIM 2019 saw us dishing out coffees against the stunning backdrop of the French Riviera. The event took place in the glamorous French resort town of Cannes and was, unsurprisingly, our barista Charity’s work highlight of the year.

We worked on a great sized stand for the International Department of Trade, overlooking the beautiful beach where Charity took her lunch break every day. It’s a tough job, but someone’s got to do it!

Exante at London Concours 2021

After waiting 450 days through various lockdowns and restrictions, London Concours 2021 was our very first event back. We’d all desperately missed the buzz of real-life events and were so excited to be back doing what we do best.

This was a classic car show in the very fancy Honourable Artillery Company estate and was one of the first major events to take place on the grounds since the Coronavirus pandemic began. Being able to see people come together and safely serve them coffee reminded us why we love doing what we do, so this event will always have a special place in our hearts.

We hope you enjoyed this round-up of the team’s most memorable stands. If you’ve got an event coming up that could use an extra special touch, we’ve got you covered. Get in touch to find out how we can help you impress with our excellent coffee and outstanding service!
